Family Facts  The basics of me..

My real name is Carolyn but I much prefer Caly.

I was born in 1960 and raised in Westchester Co. NY. I am the oldest of 3. I have one brother and one sister. I earned an A.A.S degree in Agriculture from S.U.N.Y. Cobleskill in 1979, and worked with Horses for 10 years after graduation. In an attempt to please my mother and fool myself, I married in 1990 and had a son in 1991. Jordan is the light of my life.

We moved to Vermont after Jordan was born and the marriage lasted 13 years, but it was never truly meant to be. After a 4 year battle with depression and being a community leader at iVillage.com's Depression support board , I was finally ready to live the life I was meant to live.

Along with my partner, I reside in TN with Pippin, our minature Dachshund.  We also bought a home in 2007.( See the photo gallery for pictures). ...

There has always been more to me then I realized and as I have grown older, I have decided its time to share a little bit of myself with the world.  I hope you enjoy your visit!

Yep thats me.  For 40 years I tried to pretend I was otherwise, but it took a major battle with depression and several years of therapy for me to finally be ready to be me. I came out as a Lesbian in 2004 and Life has never been better. As you browse around my site, you can see some of my story and learn abit about the various aspects of my life.   

One thing I have to share here are my tattoos. I  have 5. A ying-yang sun on the inside of my right ankle, a moon & stars on the outside of that ankle, (photos in the gallery) and a pair of interlocking hearts on my left upper arm. ("K" has a matching one of these on her lower back)  Then there is a Triple Goddess tattoo on the back of my neck (photo in gallery) and finally but most important is my Chinese Character for the word, Tao on the inside of my right wrist.
